Scout.com was on hand to check out Woodruff as they hosted Chesnee this past Friday night. Perkins, a senior, had another huge game in limited action as the Wolverines won big 49-7 over the Eagles.

Woodruff quarterback Ryan Perkins has been named the Herald-Journal Prep Football Player of the Week after his six-touchdown performance in a 51-28 victory against Greenville and will be honored Friday at the Spartanburg Touchdown Club meeting. The senior finished 17-of-29 for 303 yards in the opener.
