Woodruff quarterback Ryan Perkins has been named the Herald-Journal Prep Football Player of the Week after his six-touchdown performance in a 51-28 victory against Greenville and will be honored Friday at the Spartanburg Touchdown Club meeting.

The senior finished 17-of-29 for 303 yards in the opener.
